NAHREP is a purpose-driven organization that is propelled by a passionate combination of entrepreneurial spirit, cultural heritage and the advocacy of its members. Our mission is to increase sustainable Hispanic homeownership by empowering the real estate professionals that serve the community.

 

History 

The NAHREP-MSELA Chapter was founded in the Fall of 2006 by a group of real estate professionals who saw the need to create a Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals in the Montebello Southeast Los Angeles area for those who were persistent that a chapter would benefit this region in the Los Angeles County. 

Founding Officers were:  President Miguel "Mike" Garcia, President-Elect J.J. Lopez, Secretary, Desolina Avila, Treasurer, Luis Fragoso.  Directors:  Ernie Acosta, Bob Carrillo, Phil Limon, Rosie Rodriguez and Advisory Director Irma Acosta.

Through these difficult economic times, with hard work and dedication by this passionate Board of Directors, the Chapter continued to grow and flourish. Each Chapter Director was given a task to pursue in order to reach the goals set forth in our Mission Statement.

Today, our Chapter has fully completed its developmental phase and is now recognized nationally as an established Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Our members are a real estate agents, brokers, loan officers, mortgage brokers, title officers, escrow officers, appraisers, insurance agents, and independent practitioners, as well as, corporate members from local and surrounding Los Angeles businesses.

Our members abide by a strict Code of Trust and are committed to providing Hispanic clients with sound home buying guidance and treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
